We’re looking for people with a passion for hot dogs and a strong background in preparing, eating, enjoying, debating and celebrating them as the great all-American food.

How To Enter

Send your hot dog resume to contest@hot-dog.org and remember to indicate which region you are applying to represent as the hot dog ambassador. Your resume should include all the reasons why you should be a hot dog ambassador. Photos, videos and other creative accompaniments are encouraged.

Prizes

Ambassadors won’t simply gain the status associated with the lofty title, but will also receive several prizes as well:

  • Each winner will receive a Hot Dog Ambassador business card which can also be used for deals at NHDSC partner restaurants.
  • A $100 gift card for their favorite hot dogs
  • An NHDSC Wiener Warrior t-shirt
  • “I Love Hot Dogs” Wristband & bumper sticker

Runners-up for each region will be named Wiener Warriors and receive NHDSC t-shirts, “I Love Hot Dogs” wristbands and other prizes.

Restaurant Partners

We love hot dog restaurants and carts, as their passion for hot dogs shines through their businesses. Restaurant or cart owners will not be eligible for hot dog ambassador positions, however we still want to work with you! Restaurants or carts that team with us to honor our hot dog ambassadors with discounts or deals will be named official National Hot Dog and Sausage Council restaurant partners. Restaurant partners will receive special recognition on our website as well as social media channels and get a “Restaurant Partner” sticker to put in your window.
